Well-I thought it was time for an update on what has been going on with me.
I have been doing good and staying fairly healthy.  The only big thing I am having problems with is I keep getting ear infections one right after the other.  Mommy says we have done everything that can be done so we are going to go back to my ear, nose, and throat dr and probably talk about getting my tonsils out sometime soon.  They are going to have to come out sometime anyway so might as well go ahead and do it.  Anytime I get sick with a cold or an ear infection I have a lot of drainage and since my tonsils are enlarged anyway, I end up having a bit of trouble breathing at night, so I think everyone will be happy after my tonsils are gone.  It will mean another surgery, but since the doctors are now used to my airway it should go smoothly.
I am growing into such a big boy and I am finally looking like a big boy too!  I weigh 20 pounds now and I am about 30 inches long.  I went to see a doctor called an endocrinologist and he drew some blood to look and make sure all my hormones were ok.  The tests showed that my thyroid, cortisol, and my growth hormones were all normal.  My sodium and potassium was borderline so they are gonna repeat that test.  The dr. said it could be just an error on their part.
I am still receiving early intervention, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and vision therapy.  I am doing very well with all my therapies and will be transitioning into the school systems next year when I turn three.  I am doing much better sitting, standing, I can now reach and grasp and activate switch toys, I can hold my sippy cup all by myself, and I am experimenting with making a lot of different noises.  I have a stander that I spend time in every day and I really like it a lot.  It can also be a chair for when I get tired.  My therapists are working on taking steps, self feeding myself finger foods, saying some words, and sitting independently.
The big news with me is I am now a BIG BROTHER!  My baby sister, Jerika, was born on October 20th.  She is 6 days old today.  I have been staying a lot with both my grams this week because mommy was in the hospital and then pretty tired when she came home.  I have been able to spend time with Jerika, though, and I think she is pretty neat!  She sounds funny when she cries and I like to mimic her and sometimes I laugh when she cries.  She doesn't look like me very much but mommy says babies change every day so no one knows who she may look like.  Jerika has her own website at http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/j/jerika if you want to know about her.
Well, I guess thats all for now.  Here are some pics of me in my stander and some of me and Jerika.
